Welcome to the Voice of the Farmer Garden

The Voice of the Farmer Garden is a living, interactive learning exhibit on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., located at the national headquarters of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Developed and managed by Farm Journal Foundation, the garden teaches visitors about the important contributions that agriculture makes to our nation’s economy, food and nutrition security, culture, and more. The garden features the major crops grown in America, and includes educational signage and an interactive, mobile-phone walking tour with videos narrated by American farmers.
